On the rare occasion that my husband and I run a race or (gasp!) workout at the gym together, he always complains when we are getting dressed. His complaint is that I ALWAYS have cooler workout clothes than him.
Which is very true.
Here are four simple reasons that I have a closet full of workout clothes that are way cooler than my husband’s:
- I workout between 4 and 6 times a week, so I buy high quality workout clothes that stand up to multiple wearings and washings.
- Having flattering workout clothes makes me feel good about myself, which helps to inspire me to workout several times a week (so I can continue to fit in those cute clothes).
- My clothes also need to be functional, flexible and comfortable so I can wear them to bootcamp, yoga, crossfit, the weight room and to run races. Being able to wear them to the grocery store on Sunday afternoons is just a bonus.
- Working out several times a week also means I can justify my need for multiple pairs of black workout pants and an assortment of tops, as long as they are affordable.
All of these reasons are why I was excited to hear about Ellie, an online activewear company that loves both fitness and fashion. Ellie is like your own personal shopper for activewear, who helps customize your workout gear to your lifestyle by starting your online purchase with a style quiz. The results of my fitness style profile crowned me a cardio queen (which I already knew).
After completing the style quiz, you can start shopping! Ellie gives you the option to become a FitFashionista Club Member or to shop as a non-member. Non-members pay the listed price for each piece, while FitFashionista Club members have the advantage of saving money by selecting an entire outfit for a monthly subscription cost of $49.95. Each month a new collection is released, with March featuring the Little Black Collection. Two of my favorite pieces from this collection are the Back in Black tank and the Raven capris. These pieces are reminiscent of the workout wear sold in higher priced stores like lululemon but are much more reasonably priced.
If you are ready to spruce up your workout wardrobe with new outfit, start by clicking on the link below and you can save an additional 20% off your order. If you sign up for the FitFashionista Club, you can get your first Ellie outift for about $40.oo and shipping is free for club members! Don’t worry about a long term committment, you can cancel your membership at anytime.
Fashion. Fitness. Affordability. That is why I am so excited to introduce you to Ellie.
Note: P.V. Body was recently relaunched as Ellie. The first picture above features an outfit that I ordered from P.V. Body in January. I was excited when my first outfit arrived and could not wait to see how it fit. Although I was a little hesitant about ordering activewear online, the black capris and purple top fit me perfectly.
